Scientific committee of ISICPM is pleased to invite abstracts for the “1st National Conference of Indian society of Intensive Care and Perioperative Medicine” to be held between 6-8 Oct 2023 at SGPGIMS, Lucknow.

Abstract may include topics from

Anaesthesiology (all subspecialities).
Intensive Care Medicine.
Perioperative and Pain Medicine.

Abstract may be in the form of original research papers /case reports / case series / Interesting case.Abstract should be in a structured format like background, objective, methods, result and conclusion and should be limited to 300 words.

Eligibility :

First (main) author should be the presenting author.
The abstract must be original and should not be published earlier.
Conference registration is prerequisite for abstract presentations.

All the abstracts will be reviewed by scientific committee and abstracts will be selected for either Poster or Podium presentation.

Midterm analysis for ongoing projects can be submitted.

The decision of Poster or Podium presentation will be at the discretion of ISICPM scientific Committee and conveyed to candidate via Email.

Acceptance will be notified only after review and revision, within 2 weeks of submission. Rights of acceptance/ rejection rests with the scientific committee and it is final.

Last date for submission of abstract is 15^th September 2023.

Poster Guidelines

It should be a Physical poster (e.g. Flex printing)

Posters must be portrait mode with size: A0 Size 841 mm wide x 1189mm high. (Around 90 cm × 120cm).

Each poster will be allocated a poster board number.

Authors must prepare all posters beforehand in a form enabling easy mounting.

Poster should be mounted by the author by 11:00 AM on 7^th October,2023.

Posters will be judged by eminent faculties of respective field. Date and time of presentation will be informed via Email after 15.09.2023.

Posters must be dismantled on Sunday 8th October,2023 between 1:30 pm and 2 pm. Posters that are not taken down by this time will be discarded. The organizer takes no responsibility for this.

Posters should be typed in clear bold print that can be easily read from distances over one meter with the title displayed in block capitals of minimum font size 70-72 at the top of the poster. The title should also display the names of the author(s) and the institution(s) of origin. Remaining content may be displayed in columns with font of 28-32.

Content should contain the study background, objective(s), methods, results, and conclusion(s).

All content should be simple and not overburdened with detail – “minimising detail maximises information transfer”.
